So we rolled in to Bellingham, WA the day before yesterday and proceded to bike up to Peace Arch Park on the border between Canada and the U.S. It was a great ride and good to get back on the bikes after the two day approach it took to get here. We were met by Jack Kintner with The Northern Light newspaper out of Blaine, WA who is doing a story on our trip and following our travels. Super great guy who gave us a lot of amazing information about cycling in the Pacific Northwest. On the way back we took the scenic route that rolled through fields of cranberries, hops, and vineyards with the glaciated Mt. Baker majestically looming in the background.
The last couple days we’ve been researching outfitters in the area, making contacts, and settling in to the trip. Good things our on the horizon.
The photo you see is of The Woods Coffee Shop I’ve been working out of for the last few days. Beautiful right. Talk to you soon.
